Former Pinoy Dream Academy scholar teamed up with a bossa nova sensation in bringing you a heart - warming acoustic album. Love is written all over their renditions as they sing songs from famous hits like “Fallin’ for You”, “The Only Exception”, “Two is Better Than One” and many more. Collaboration has never been so good because of their passion for music. Davey’s impressive “acousticized” versions and Raffi’s sweet bossa nova style adds a refreshing alignment to the acoustic scene and a pleasant ambiance for the fans to experience.
Davey Langit was first on the scene when he joined the hit reality TV show of ABS-CBN “Pinoy Dream Academy” in 2006. An independent achiever, Davey learned to play the guitar himself and since then, composed many compositions, mostly about love. With his father and grandmother to guide Davey, he was able to conquer the trials along the way. Davey released his first album “Mad about Acoustic” in 2009 and is back with another album this time with the “Viva’s Bossa Diva”.
Raffi Quijano started singing at an early age of three. Eighteen years later, the woman from Cebu City made two albums under the bossa nova genre that got her hailed as the “Viva’s Bossa Diva”. Coming from a family who is musically inclined, Raffi, sought to rise among the rest with her musical versatility and prowess. Besides from the music scene, Raffi is also a Servant leader. Being a SK Chairperson of Brgy. Day-as and the Vice-President of SKF Cebu City, she is a setting a good example to her family and to her community like founding the Tabang Bata Organization (TABO) which caters to the needs of less fortunate children.
