This August, every Saturday at 1:30pm, relish “A Double Scoop of Spoof” that gives fresh and funny twists to hit flicks on PBO Back-to-Back. Veteran comedian Leo Martinez steals the spotlight from FPJ’s “Epimaco Velasco” on August 7 as he stars as “Epifanio, Ang Bilas Ko”, a bumbling private eye who heads a languishing detective and security agency, together with his brother-in-law.

Laughter continues in Joey de Leon’s spoof of He-Man: “She-Man, Mistress of the Universe”. It tells the story of Pando, a kind-hearted bumpkin who becomes a gay superhero to kidnapped children after receiving superpowers from Gayskull.

Joey de Leon returns on August 14 as "Pandoy…Alalay ng Panday". In the absence of the real Panday, stable boy Pandoy is picked by the gods to free the women of the mystical Sta. Monica from white slavery. But as he fights the pirate leader Redentor, he must also decide whether to stay in the mystical world with his newfound love or to return home. Regine Velasquez as a granddaughter of a mob warlord in “The Untouchable Family” comes next. When she gets involved with the son of a rival syndicate, see if their romance has any chance of surviving.

On August 21, if you got deeply affected by “Schindler’s List”, “Swindler’s List” will leave you delighted. Leo Martinez and Nino Muhlach pair up in this comedy about helping the poor by swindling the wicked, uncompassionate rich. Andrew E. topbills the next comedy, “Bikini Watch”, where he stars as a lovestruck waiter in a private beach resort torn between the lovely local Dovie and the voluptuous foreign guests, while stopping a group of hunks from destroying the beach.

On August 28, funny man Jimmy Santos is the outlaw “Robin Good, Sugod ng Sugod”, whose only similarity with the real Robin Hood is having good intentions. Known as a coward, Robin Good is challenged to overcome his weakness to defend the people from its oppressors. Then, young comedians Nino Muhlach, Keempee de Leon, Dennis Padilla and Smokey Manoloto star in a remake of the 1960s’ “Cuadro de Jack”, a story about inept but trying-hard heroes.
